Hi, welcome to the Daily Spin. I'm Steve, the owner of inlineskates.com, and with me is Steve Charrier the president of Rollerblade. Hi, Steve. Hello, Steve. And what do I have in front of me? You have the Fusion 84 GM. General manager? For Greg Mirzoyan. Who is he? Greg is an outstanding skater... Skates for us. A pro skater in Europe. Has some great videos on our website. So, this is a really interesting skate. It's got a molded boot but it's got a sort of a performance wheel but it's got some grind plates on it. It's got aluminum frame. This is like a Jack of all trades. It's got it going on there, Steve.

All right, so, I don't know, there's a ton of things to talk about. I'm going to pass this over to you. Where do you want to start? Well, we'll start with a molded boot. So, molded boot is going to transfer energy really well. This boot has a lace - a bright yellow lace in there. And a 45 degree buckle over the instep so it locks you down into the skate. It has an actually a Velcro strap at the top so you can keep a nice, looser upper kind of cuff area here. It looks like a ski boot like fit but its got a lot of cut outs for ventilation so it's not going to be hot even though it's really, really strong and secure. Yeah, it's got a lot of support but it won't get too hot, right. The skate has really strong aluminum frame. It's a UFS design system. That means you can take the frame off and replace it. Stands for Universal Frame System and you can actually take this frame off and put one of our blank aggressive frames on here. We can change out the whole the make up of the skate. And speaking of aggressive, it actually has some grind plates on it even though it's not really an aggressive skate, right? It does. All you have to do is watch a couple of Greg's videos... Hold it up so they can see it. You can see it and I can see it but they couldn't see it. Yeah, so these grind plates here but if you watch the way Greg skates on there, I mean, he does design this skate. This is his set up, the way he likes to skate and he rips around cities and urban areas better than anyone I've seen.

And let's talk about the wheels and bearings. What are those? Well, this is a Hydrogen 84mm wheel with kind of a wider, rounder profile to it. And Hydrogen is your new line of super-duper high performance wheels. Best wheels we can make. Poured in the USA. Super rebound to it. Durable. Excuse me? Where do they make them? In California. Nice, that's cool. And what about the bearings on them? It's an SG9 bearing so it's going to be very fast and responsive. Really nice aluminum frame on here. Skate's going to be quick with turning and all that. Just really, really fast skate. It looks like, although there's probably a lot of potential customers who could benefit from this skate... You know that aggressive kid skater who wants a skate that he can actually go fast on as...you can't take an aggressive skate and skate around town on that. You'll kill yourself. When you go from 52mm wheels or so and if you get on 84s, it's amazing how fast they go. But it's got durability, it's got a little bit of grind plate on it but you can actually go somewhere, turn fast, go fast. It'll do it all so... So, other than that person, who else is the ideal customer for this skate? You know, it's actually a pretty good, all-around skate for anyone to skate on. It's not going to be too difficult for someone who's an intermediate skater even. It's not that long of a frame, it'll turn well. It's going to be fast because of the quality of the wheel. That Hydrogen wheel, I can't tell you enough, Steve, how fast they are compared to regular, high quality... Yeah, you've been talking about those wheels all day and you have those on your most expensive skates. Yeah, they're really high-performance. Okay, so there you have it: The Rollerblade Fusion GM. Thanks for joining us on this edition of the Daily Spin.
