Status Updates

 

You will receive a confirmation e-mail from us with-in 24 hours from when you first place your order. If the item is in stock, it will typically leave our warehouse in 1-2 business days. If your order is delayed due to back orders or any other reason, you will receive updates from us periodically via e-mail. Shipping Confirmation

 

Once you place your order and it has been shipped, we will send you a confirmation e-mail. The confirmation e-mail will include a tracking number (if available), back-ordered items, items that have shipped and the total amount charged to your account. You will only be charged for items that have already been shipped.

Tracking Your Order

Any items shipped to military addresses cannot be traced while in transit. Some tracking services only provide proof of delivery and will not provide any information about the package until it is delivered. Sometimes it may take up to 48 hours before the package is checked into the carriers tracking system. You order may not be traceable at this time.

 

Track your order by:

 

  1. Check your e-mail. We will send you e-mails about the status of your order that will keep you up-to-date.
  2. You tracking number will allow you to track your order by going to the carriers website or clicking on the link provided in your shipping confirmation e-mail.. Once on the site, enter your tracking number in the appropriate field.

 

Any questions regarding tracking numbers or the exact status of your package while en route should be directed to the shipping company (UPS or US Postal Service).

Delivery of Your Items

 

Your items will typically be delivered within 3-8 full business days. This does depend on where your shipping location is and the method of shipping you select at check out.

 

Shipping only occurs during regular business days, Monday through Friday (excluding federal holidays). If a confirmation e-mail is sent to you reporting that your items have been shipped on a weekend or federal holiday, they will actually be shipped out the following business day.

 

Due to size and weight, items shipped trough a freight trucking company will arrive within 7-14 full business days after the item leaves our warehouse. Any questions or concerns about the delivery of an oversized can be directed to our customer service department.

 

 

Availability of your items:

 

AVAILABILITY: In stock items leave our warehouse in 1-2 business days.

 

This is the timeline in which we expect your item to leave our warehouse. How long your order takes to ship depends on the shipping method you choose at checkout. For example, if you select Overnight shipping, your item takes 1-2 days to leave our warehouse so it may actually take 2-3 days for your order to arrive.

 

We value customer security and privacy to the highest degree. There are numerous precautions that we take in verifying the security and privacy of orders, which is why most orders take at least 24-48 hours to leave our warehouse.

 

***Note: In order to protect you from identity thieves, we may need to contact you if your billing information does not match the information on file with your credit card company and your order may be delayed.

To find items that you are looking for on InlineSkates.com, you can enter keywords in the search box located near the top of the page, or you can browse through the links from the homepage. Both methods will allow you to locate the item you are looking for and there are a variety of sorting functions to help you.

Learning More about Products

 

To learn more about an item all you need to do is click on the item. Once clicking on the item, you will be taken to a product detail page that will have a complete description of the product, provide you with carious specs about the product and have all available pictures, colors and sizes on it. There will also be videos and buying guides pertinent to the product that will help you with your purchase.

Adding Items to Your Shopping Cart

 

To add items to your shopping cart:

 

  • Choose the size/color of the item from the options next to the product picture.
  • Next choose the quantity of the item you want from the options next to the pictures of the product.
  • After completing the steps listed above, click on the "Add To Cart" button located on the right side of the web page. The item will then be added to your cart, and you can edit your shopping cart at any time.

 

Certain colors or sizes may be listed as out of stock. This means you will not be able to add that particular item in that size or color to you cart. Typically there will be an availability date posted but if for some reason one is not posted, please contact us. There are items offered on pre-order. We will give the estimated ship date on these items if you choose to pre-order them but they will not ship out until the item is available.

Making Changes to Your Shopping Cart

 

The following changes can be made to your shopping cart:

 

Update the quantity.

Type the number of the product you wish to purchase and click the "Update Cart" button below the itemized breakdown of the items in your cart.

 

To remove an item from your cart.

Click "Remove" next to the quantity or change the quantity to zero and click the "Update Cart" button.

 

Editing the size/color of an item in your cart.

Click "Edit Details" or the prodcut title in the checkout, which will take you back to the listing where you can update your item with the available colors and sizes offered.

 

Return to shopping.

If you would like to purchase more than one item, you can continue shopping and your shopping cart will hold the items you have already chosen to order. Click on the "Continue Shopping" button located next to the "Checkout" button at the bottom of the cart. To return to your shopping cart simply click the "Shopping Cart" button at the top right corner of the web page.

Calculating Shipping Time

 

Warehouse Processing Time + Shipping Time = Delivery Time

 

Be sure to check availability of a product on the product detail page or in your shopping cart.

 

AVAILABILITY: In stock items leave our warehouse in 1-2 business days.

 

Processing for all orders will take 1-2 Business Days. Selecting express shipping does not shorten the processing time. Please allow ample time for shipping, for the “safest” delivery time calculation add two business days worth of processing time to the shipping time you select upon check out.  Including the order processing time “Overnight Shipping” may actually take up to 3 business days to be delivered to you, your package will not be on your porch in the morning. We're good, but we're not that good.

 

Please make a note of the product availability when adding the item to your shopping cart. In order to provide you with the best product selection, InlineSkates.com offers many items which are on-order from the manufacturers or are Drop Shipped directly from the manufacturer.

 

 

Proceeding Through Checkout

 

Please note that during checkout:

 

  • Your billing address must match the address used for your credit card that you use during payment.

 

  • Please allow for 1-2 business days for your order to be processed and shipped out of our warehouse. Also, keep this in mind when selecting a shipping method.

 

  • In order to protect you from identity thieves, we may need to contact you if your billing information does not match the information on file with your credit card company and your order may be delayed.

 

  • Once your order has been placed, you cannot make any changes unless you contact us directly, so review your order carefully before placing it.

 

 

Logging-in and Creating an account: On InlineSkates.com you have the option to create an account or check out as a guest.

 

 

  • If you already have an account you can login using your email and password. The account saves your billing and shipping information to speed up check out if you choose to use it. You can edit this information if you are logged into your user account.

 

  • If you want to create an account you can click the "Create Account" to create a new user account which allows you to check out faster on future purchases, log your order history and keep you in the loop on new and exclusive offers.

 

  • If you do not want to create an account  you can check out as a guest, keep in mind that your billing and shipping information in addition to your order history will not be saved. Also you might miss out on exclusive deals offered to our account holders.

 

Billing and Shipping information: Enter and/or verify (if you are logged into your account) your shipping address. If your billing and shipping information are the same make sure to check the box to use the same address for billing, to save you from having to enter your information twice. Your billing address must match the address that the credit card is billed. We may need to contact you if your billing information does not match the information on file with your credit card company and your order may be delayed or cancelled.

 

Selecting Shipping Method: The shipping methods will you can select will populate based on the zip code for your shipping address and the items in your cart. Please take into consideration the 2 Business Day Processing Time for all orders when selecting a shipping option. Air Shipping will not effect the 2 Business Day Processing Time. Click "Continue Checkout" to proceed.

 

Verify that your billing information matches the information on file with your credit card company. Any discrepancy in your billing information may delay your order. If you have any coupon codes or gift certificates to apply to your order please add those codes in the respective boxes and click "Apply". Next choose a payment option, either credit card or PayPal account. Once you complete the steps above, you can review all your information and see the total of your order before you place it, click the "Contine Checout" button and you will be taken conformation page.

 

Place Order Page: After clicking on the "Continue Checkout" button on the Billing Page, you will be able to verify and change your items for the last time. Please make sure that any coupons or discounts are applying correctly and that your order total is accurate before clicking "Submit Order". After clicking "Submit Order" the only way to change your order is to contact our customer service department directly.

 

Confirmation Page:  After you click "Sumbit Order" you will be able to view your order confirmation page. On this page you will be able to see your order number and all the information that you entered regarding your order. You will be e-mailed all the information on the confirmation page but you may still want to print that page out for your personal records.

Exchanges and Returns

 

Return for Refund - The product must come back to us in the original manufacturers packaging. Use the address labels from the bottom of your invoice to mail your product and we will get the credit back to you within 2-3 business days of receiving your product.

 

Return for Exchange - In order to complete an exchange, place a new order online for the product you want and mail the original product back to us. Once we receive your product we will issue a refund to within 2-3 business days to your credit card or PayPal account.

 

It is strongly suggested that for exchanges you simply place a new order and allow us to refund your original order, as we may sell out of certain "hot ticket" items quickly and may not be able to get more in stock. If for some reason this is not acceptable for you give us a call and we can setup an exchange.

Wrong Item, Color or Size

 

Contact our customer service department if you receive the wrong item, or if an item you receive is different from what you originally ordered. If this is the case, it's important that you contact us before returning your item so that we can issue you a return label free of charge. If you do not contact us, you are responsible for all return shipping and possible restocking fee. Have your original invoice that was included in your package or was e-mailed to you by us before you call us to help customer service assist you. Also, know the difference between the item you ordered and the item you received as you will be asked to describe the differences in depth.

Once placed, your order will be entered into our system to be processed. If you decide you need to cancel or change your order you must contact us ASAP. We are happy to make every effort to help you in changing or canceling your order. Please do keep in mind that we fill orders and get them on their way as quickly as possible, so once your order has been shipped the order cannot be changed or cancelled. If this is the case, please follow our return instructions.
