Ventilation - The Climate you skate in, the amount of energy you put into your skating, or whether you run hot or cold are the determining factors as to how much ventilation your skates should have.

Low: Ventilation skates have the least amount of breathability, and are best for people skating leisurely, for someone who isn’t skating long distances, or for skater’s whose feet do not require a high amount of breathability.

Medium: Ventilation skates have a moderate amount of breathability for skaters who are skating moderate distances and will need ventilation to cool off their feet when skating longer distances.

High: Ventilation skates offer the highest amount of ventilation for skaters whose feet run the warmest or for skaters that are doing the highest amount of aerobic workouts.
