I used to figure skate when I was younger, and figured a transition to inlines wouldn't be too bad. Now that I am quitting soccer, I figured that I needed a sport that I would like, be more independent, and still funeasy. I bought these for myself and absolutely love them. They are very smooth, and the 84mm is just right in speed. They are stylish and supportive. I do have ankle problems as a result of soccer, and these give me no issues. I also have soccer calves, so they are a little tight, but usual wear should help break them in; for reference, the tightest part is the very top of the boot, and my calve measures 10.5 inches in circumference. Past 11.5 inches may be a problem for you. My feet are a 7.5 in every shoe I wear, and this was no different. It is tight enough that I feel in control, but not cutting off my circulation. My feet are also on the wider side, with very high arches, so I was leery at first, but fit nicely all around.
Go rollerblading at the beach from parking lot to the beach. We go through streets, brick pavers, sidewalks. On out first trip we did over 8 miles and our feet were just fine. They are super comfortable, smooth, and you can definitely pick up speed on them if you choose. They handle well.

Q: I am trying to decide b/t 2013 and 2014 model. It appears to 2013 has a better bearing rating, just want to double check. Also, if I buy a pair and too small, I can exchange them for free, but I pay for shipping if don't purchase your guaranteed fit program?
A: There are three major differences between the 13 and 14 models. The 13 does come with slightly higher grade bearings. Where the 14 excels is with the new speed lacing system and the HiLo chassis, meaning there are smaller wheels up front making it easier to get rolling with larger wheels in the back for a smooth roll.
We have a 1 year return policy on new or used gear, but you would be responsible for any return shipping costs. If you use our guaranteed fit program it offers a significantly reduced shipping rate and allows you to pick between sizes.
