I received these skates about 1 month ago. I was hesitant purchasing online, but seemed like for inline skates this was the only way to go. I was worried about sizing. I found info on K2 sizing that suggested measuring your feet in millimet...Read More

Q: I bought K-2 alexis boa size 7. They fit perfect but there is only a forth inch space at my toe tip. Should I buy a 7 and half? I don't want to use them and find my toe hitting the top of shoe. Not sure what to do

Know the answer? Answer this question

A: Sounds like you have the perfect fit, inline skates are best when sized snug. Any extra room can cause blisters and foot discomfort. When you put on the skates you will want to stand up and put yourself in a skating position with the knees bent. When you do so you will feel your toes pull back from the front of the skates. An absolute perfect fit is your toes just brushing the front when standing or sitting but many like to have a bit of room. Also keep in mind skates will break in a bit from how they fit right out the box, as your natural heat from your foot breaks down the liner to effectively mold it around your specific foot shape. Long story short, sounds like a good fit.

Q: What's the weight limit? Which rollerblades are best for a 285lb woman?

Know the answer? Answer this question

A: No inline skate manufacturer currently posts weight limits/restrictions to their skates so there isn't a set in stone limit. I would recommend this skate or a skate similar as this is a slightly higher end model so it has a more supportive boot as well as an aluminum frame which will help give you the proper support for a good experience skating.

Q: What does BOA mean?
Asked : Jan 07, 2017
By : Amy, United States
Know the answer? Answer this question

A: BOA is a closure system, so instead of the standard lacing where you have to tie the skates you have a BOA closure system. This system works with a dial which can easily be tightened and loosened with ease, this system makes it much easier to take off and put on the skates as well as making it easier to fine tune your fit and make adjustments as you skate.
