Wanted something better than what I can get at Sports Authority. Larger wheels are definitely a plus for me..I'm over 200 lbs and I knew 78mm was just going to slow me down. I had not been on inline skates in over in 20 yrs (I am 43). These are the right skates for me to get back into the sport for casual exercise..I take my dog for a 1-2 mile run when I skate. I'd go further alone but my feet are on fire after the first mile..hopefully this will improve the more I use them. As stated in other reviews..the ankle lock is simply too short..you'd need skinny ankles to be able to get these to latch with ease..I have to get help..this should improve the more they are broken in..but I believe this is a design flaw from K2. When I put these skates on and get laced up they seem comfortable..but after a mile I am ready to get them off my feet and they feel like I've been wearing a size too small..not sure what the problem is. Overall, the price was what I wanted to pay for an above average casual skate. If I can resolve the burning feet problem, I'll be much happier and able to skate longer distances.
These skates are super easy to put on and take off. They're fast, smooth and very comfortable. I wear an 8, ordered an 8 and it fits perfectly. I would definitely recommend these to anyone who's in the market for a new pair of inline skates.
Bought these for my daughter's 11th birthday and she loves them. They are easy to put on and take off and she says they are comfortable. She says people ask her if her name is Alexis cause the name is on her skates , but she thinks it's funny.
I am finally revisiting my love of in-line skating after almost 10 years away from it. My old K2 skates were wonderful, but long gone, so I did some research before purchasing a new pair. I went with K2 again, and I am so happy I did. Somehow, improvements have been made on what was already an excellent skate. The boot fit is perfect, and the ankle stability seems even better than before. What a great skate to reintroduce myself, not a beginner by any stretch of the imagination, but also needing a little practice to get back to where I was way back when. Just fast enough, and offers superior control and maneuverability. Great price, too!!
