I put on 5 miles to work and back and do about 15 miles on the weekend days. The larger wheels are great to cruise over sidewalk cracks no problem. My old skates had 76mm and were llike early 90sto old so i dont have a lot to compare these too. I was nervous reading reviews that said they were a faster skate...didnt notice that. I did notice they'll cruise forever and i use the brake more but thats it. Super comfy!! Luv them! Best investment in a long time!
I wasn't sure about the mix of different size wheels on this skate, but I'm more than happy with the feel, balance, and speed I get with these. The boot is comfortable and true to size. I would recomend these if you're looking to move up to something better than your typical entry level skate.
I am pleased with the two different size wheels and find they provide a balanced ride. I have not changed the wheels yet, so am not sure how easy they will be to adjust, but overall love the skates thus far.
Even though I'm a beginner, I purchased sophisticated skates because I'm in my 20's and my balance is good. These skates are fast, smooth, but still have good control if you take the time to practice. I plan to use them on flat, paved bike trails once I hone my turning skills.
Any beginner who doesn't have the best balance, flexibility or athletic ability should probably purchase skates with smaller wheels - the high speed of these skates will make learning more difficult.
