I use these skates to walk my dog and keep up with my nine year old while he rides his bike. I love them. They were exactly what I was looking for. So easy to put on with the straps attached to the boot. The colors are very fashionable and feminine. Maybe the are not as fast as I remember when I was a kid, but maybe that is not such a bad thing. I have not been skating for maybe 10+ years so these are perfect beginners ( or re-beginners). As I advance, possibly I might change the barrings to add some more speed. The only thing I have found that I don't like is the brake!! It is HARD plastic. So even when I apply lots of pressure I don't really slow much. I remember back in the day that my brake used to be like a rubber material which worked great. Maybe I can replace it with another type? But really the brake is only a minor flaw. Over all, they were exactly what I was looking for! Shipping was on time too! I'm satisfied with my purchase.

K2 makes a great product. The size charts are accurate. The boot is comfortable and the skate is well-made all around. Use these for recreational skating. They are stable and good for beginners too, because the wheels are not too big. The frame is plastic as most lower end skates are, but that is better for beginners anyway because it absorbs more shock than an aluminum frame would.
