K2's Exo Inline Skates are great skates for a new skater entering the world of inline skating. The Exo skates even hold up well for skaters who have graduated from beginner but still have certain moves they must master. The Tec Composite frame is a medium length frame made with a composite material that absorbs road vibration which makes skating more enjoyable especially for beginners. The Tec Composite frame is also able to create good power transfer which means less energy wasted when going longer distances. With the Stability cuff, beginners can also build their confidence using its support and anatomical design for better balance and fit. Skill Range:

Comments about K2 Exo Inline Skates 2011:
DO NOT BUY THESE, regardless of your skill level. The term "beginner skates" should not be code for "rite of passage." Spend an extra $50 or so and get a decent pair of K2s (or whatever brand you like). If you buy these, you'll spend the same $50 (and then some) on gel inserts, and new bearings/wheels.Not sure how these skates are getting good reviews. My guess is they were given as gifts.I have been skating my entire adult life, about 20 years. During that time, I've owned dozens of pairs of inline skates and found K2 to be the most comfortable. I recently had surgery, and so I just started skating again. I figured I'd start out by buying an inexpensive, slower pair of K2s to ease back into it. Enter the Exo, which turned out to be the only K2 purchase I've ever regretted.Granted, these appear to be the cheapest K2 offering, but they aren't worthy of the K2 name. It's a little sad to me that you cannot buy K2 skates sight unseen anymore. These are the most uncomfortable pair of soft-boot skates I've ever owned, and second only to a pair of plastic skates I had in the early 90s (in terms of discomfort). They are awful. I added gel inserts and even wore neoprene ankle wraps and they still hurt after 30 min. And they're slow. Easily the slowest pair of skates I can remember wearing.I wore these 3 times, and I'm done with them. I'm donating them to [@]and wearing my old K2 Mods so I can skate as long as I want to. Trust me, pay for a pair of last year's Mach 90s instead. You will be very satisfied.Shame on you, K2. Exo's are an embarrassment to the K2 name.

These skates have excellent arch support but not enough padding around the ankles.

Comments about K2 Exo Inline Skates 2011:
I got these skates for my son who is a size 14. I was happy to even find his size. He uses the skates to play outdoor hockey with friends. He like the look of them and is able to start and stop with ease. He hasn't had anything bad to say about these skates. The fit is perfect which is hard to determine when you by things on line. He is happy with them.

Comments about K2 Exo Inline Skates 2011:
Since I am just a 53 year old beginner, I can't judge how good or bad these skates might be. But I am happy with them. One of the main reasons I bought them was they were one of the few that carried a size 14 us mens. I am learning to get around and hoping to get in better shape with them.
