I was in the market for a new pair of skates and saw all of the positive reviews that I thought I would give them a shot. All the people where right these are great skates! I love the K2 boa system so easy to get them tight. Great inline skates!!!!!
Fast comfortable skates with the BOA system for under [$]. For the recreationalfitness skater it doesn't get any better. I can't stress how great the BOA system is. It really makes locking into the skate a breeze, and tightening up after skating is just bend over and give the turnkey a couple clicks, where laces is work. The skates are fast and while maybe not exactly the lightest skate ever compared to hockey skates, for inline skates they are light enough and are very maneuverable. I went with the free shipping option. I live in Chicago area, ordered on Tue and my skates were delivered Thu.I would highly recommend these skates for anyone from beginners to excellent skaters.
This is the first pair of inlines I have been on in a decade. They are incredibly fast and comfortable. I seem to have a bigger problem with slowing them down as a re-beginner, but that is my problem. The BOA system is worth the extra money because of how easy lace up is and how it makes the boot hug your feet properly. These are by far the best skates I have ever owned. I think the price was fair for what I got. Extremely pleased with these skates.
These skates are the best I've ever used. I haven't used too many types but out of the ones I have used, these are the greatest. They hold up well, are super quick, and have helped me improve while giving me something to enjoy. Great for exercise!
I have had these skates for 3 weeks now, and they are amazing and awesome!! The BOA lacing system makes it SO easy to get in and out of them. The speed that they can get up to is astronomical, so if you don't know how to slow yourself down, don't try going downhill. They accelerate very fast. Also, when they are tightly laced up, the soft-boot technology makes it feel like there's no boot there!
The only complaint that I have is that they are not built for the halfpipes. I wanted to see how they would do at the halfpipes, and after about 3 hours there, I noticed that the velcro F.I.T. ankle strap had halfway torn through at the point that it goes through the ring at.
I blade 2-3 times a week for exercise for 1-2 hrs per session. These are a great product and are worth the price. I've had other brands from the cheap models at academy (which SUCK) to rollerblade to K2 and the K2 has thoroughly beat the oters in every category. In short, its better to pay the extra cost if you want skates that will last and hold their comfort for the long run.
Unfortunately we won't be restocking this particular model before the holidays. The K2 Fit 84 Inline Skates with out the BOA closure system is currently available in more sizes, if the BOS is a feature you are willing to give up.
