I've been rollerblading for over 17 years and needed a new pair of skates so decided to go with K2's at my friends recommendation. This skate is very comfortable, more so than my Solomon's. However, there seems to be a defect in my left skate. Not sure if the frame is bent or just wasn't centered when made, but it forces my wheels to turn inward. Other than this, I like the skate, and I'm hoping this can be fixed.
I skate 25 to 35 miles a week for recreationfitness on a rail trail. My last skates were Roces hard shell which I wore out. My first time out with the FIT 84s, the laces on my right skate came undone and wrapped around a wheel resulting in a crash. Lesson #1 - double tie those long round laces and tuck securely under the cross strap. The soft shell required breaking in and I still wear an extra pair of socks to protect my ankles. Ankle support is not as good as my Roces hard shells. After 2 months, the frame on the right skate started to loosen from the boot. The owners manual said the frame was bolted to the boot, but I found rivets. I tightened them with a hammer and punch. The skates are fast and control is good. But when these wear out, I'm going back to a hard shell.
as a former intermediate skater trying to get back into in-line skating, I was a little worried that I'd have problems with the 84" wheels. However the skating has been smooth and (not too) fast and the boots are super comfy. Cant beat the price!

A: The sizing for these skates is done is US Men's sizing. For the equivalent women's skate you would want to look at the Alexis 84.
We do accept returns for any unused gear within one year but you will be responsible for any return shipping costs.

A: As with all K2 skates, the FIT 84 will not work well for people with wider feet as they run narrow. I would recommend a Rollerblade model in your case, as they tend to fit people with wider feet better.
