The K2 Il Capo is one of the most unique skates in K2's collection. With some parts reminiscent of aggressive skate models and other parts unique urban skate, this 247mm framed skate is quick edge to edge, offers the most ankle support of any K2 skate model, and can grind a little to boot. If you're into a little recreation skating and a little Urban skating, the 80mm Hyper Concrete wheels and ILQ-7 bearings will offer a perfect hybrid street skate for you.

Q: i have decided to purchase a set of these as i have always been completely satisfied with k2 skates with one exception, sizing. so i ask this to hopefully avoid sending them back for such a simple but important component of inline skating as proper fit. does the sizing run a little over, under or are they pretty close to true?

Know the answer? Answer this question

A: K2 in general, including the Il Capo, will fit true to actual shoe size, although a bit on the narrow side. If you have narrow to regular width feet, stay dead on to your shoe size. If you have wider feet, order a half size larger than your shoe size.

Q: while looking for a new skate i saw this same skate but with white wheels. will i get a choice on wheel color?

Know the answer? Answer this question

A: The wheels on the 2013 K2 Il Capo only come from the manufacturer in black. The pictures you see with white wheels are from an older season and are not an option from K2 this year.

A: I would recommend some Labeda X-Soft or Soft Gripper wheels for indoor use with the K2 Il Capo's.

Q: Will these be good to use in a roller rink?
Asked : Mar 19, 2013
By : Doak54, Hollywood, FL
Know the answer? Answer this question

A: While the K2 Il Capo will be perfectly fine to use in rink, keep in mind it does not come with a brake (due to its aggressive nature). You may also want to get some slightly grippier wheels for rink use, as they are a bit on the harder side and designed for durability, as opposed to grip.
