Comments about K2 Il Capo Urban Inline Skates 2013:
this skate is a perfect skate for someone looking for a multi purpose skate with a limited budget. for urban and recreation skating i use the wheel setup it comes with being quick enough and agile enough for what the enviorment throws at you and they are built tough enough to take the abuse. if you want to really get artistic and need a nimble skate just throw on some 76 mm wheels on the front and back for a full rocker and wow! they are very ridgid allowing fantastic controll for an entry level slalom skate. i couldnt be happier unless the two center wheels could take 84 mm wheels but hey im stoked with them as they are.

Q:
i have decided to purchase a set of these as i have always been completely satisfied with k2 skates with one exception, sizing. so i ask this to hopefully avoid sending them back for such a simple but important component of inline skating as proper fit.
does the sizing run a little over, under or are they pretty close to true?Asked on 3/26/2013 by lou1 answer
A:
K2 in general, including the Il Capo, will fit true to actual shoe size, although a bit on the narrow side. If you have narrow to regular width feet, stay dead on to your shoe size. If you have wider feet, order a half size larger than your shoe size.Answered on 3/26/2013 by Dru in CS from Bloomfield Hills, MI
Q:
while looking for a new skate i saw this same skate but with white wheels. will i get a choice on wheel color?Asked on 3/25/2013 by lou1 answer
A:
The wheels on the 2013 K2 Il Capo only come from the manufacturer in black. The pictures you see with white wheels are from an older season and are not an option from K2 this year.Answered on 3/26/2013 by Dru in CS from Bloomfield Hills, MI
Q:
Which wheels would you recommend for indoor rink use on this skate?Asked on 3/21/2013 by Doak54 from Hollywood, FL1 answer
A:
I would recommend some Labeda X-Soft or Soft Gripper wheels for indoor use with the K2 Il Capo's.Answered on 3/21/2013 by Dru in CS from Royal Oak, MI
Q:
Will these be good to use in a roller rink?Asked on 3/19/2013 by Doak54 from Hollywood, FL1 answer
A:
While the K2 Il Capo will be perfectly fine to use in rink, keep in mind it does not come with a brake (due to its aggressive nature). You may also want to get some slightly grippier wheels for rink use, as they are a bit on the harder side and designed for durability, as opposed to grip.Answered on 3/20/2013 by Dru in CS from Royal Oak, MI
Q:
Does it have a brake.Asked on 3/18/2013 by JP1 answer
A:
The K2 Il Capo has an aggressive style frame and does not accommodate a brake.Answered on 3/19/2013 by Dru in CS from Royal Oak, MI
