I am 64 and roller skate once a week. This was not enough skating time for me, now I can skate when ever I want to. Very pleased with skates, great qualilty and style. A little harder than I though it would be but I have about gotten my new skating legs. Thanks for a great product
These skates are very comfortable. I've tried the Alexis skates on, and was barely able to ratchet the top strap on, and they didn't fit as well as these. The Celena skates are more comfortable and I am able to ratchet the top strap a lot more than one notch. Plus, it's very convenient to pull the top strings and tighten my skates, compared to using "traditional" laces.
I normally wear a 9 wide US, so I ordered a 9.5. It fits well as long as I wear thin socks. If I put on thicker socks, the sides of my feet get cramped.
So far, I've skated a few miles at a time, and there is no pain like I used to have with my ancient 15 year-old inline skates.
The only drawback I have, is that I find that I have to adjust my skates, and tighten them during my "workout". But, I'm not sure if that's a normal thing, or that I'm still figuring out how skates should fit when I first put them on? (It's been about 10 years since I last skated.)
Overall, this is a great product, and I would highly recommend!
The K2s are great skates. I am happy with my purchase and I use them regularly. They are designed well and are very quick. I love the pull and strap design! No more tieing. I would say everything is good with these skates except: the wheels wear way too fast(I have skates on them for 20 miles and the some of the wheels have already became flat) and the sides rub in certain places (I have the perfect fit, maybe I need to break them in more.

Q: Is it possible to get the K2 Mach 90, either 2011 or 2012 year models,.in size 12? If not is there a comparable model from a different brand? Thank you.
A: Unfortunately as they are older models, it would be impossible to acquire Mach 90's from either season unless we get them in a close out from a different vendor. Comparable model would be the Crossfire 90's from Rollerblade or the Aerio Q 90's from Roller Derby, although it is not likely we would have the older models available in the size 12.0 either.
