The X-Training line from K2 is for the skater that wants it all: performance, comfort, fit, big wheels and maximum support. The K2 V02 100 X Boa inline skates have all of that and more. The Vortech Ventilation System is a three-part system that channels air through the base, footbed, and upper to keep your feet happy and dry. They are made with the intuition liner that is moldable to provide you with the best and most comfortable fit. They feature the V02 Max Hi-Lo Aluminum Frame that has 90mm wheels in the front and 100mm wheels in the back which is designed to keep the weight over the balls of your feet which puts you in the proper skating position so you will skate better. It is fast and stable and the best in the K2 X-Training line. Boa Closure System insures the truest fit known to man. They also feature the ILQ 9 bearings which will help you generate some amazingly fast speed.

There are three important qualities about these K2 V02 100 X Boa skates:
One - they are quick and easy to lace up.
Two - they are very comfortable and give me a secure feeling while skating briskly.
Three - they are fast! Even though I'm 72 years old, I still feel very competitive and enjoy the sensation of speed, particularly when I pass bikers or other skaters.
I like the fit and tightening ability of the skate, BUT, that's it. The wheel frame is not adjustable, (like most rollerblade skates), so I can't turn the framewheels inward to compensate for my feet which naturally turn outward with each stride. Also, there's no room for 100 mm wheels on the front, only 90's will fit, so I can't 'upgrade', or even rotate my wheels as they wear on one side. These skates are slower than my 15 year old worn out Rollerblade brand skates.
I've been skating for at least 17 years and have owned all different types of skates to include Macroblades, Rollerblade E2, aggressive skates, K2 Radical 90s (my previous pair), and now these.
In short, these are probably the best all-around skates I've owned. They are a bit heavier than my K2 Radical 90s were (as expected) and not quite as fast, but still plenty quick and perfect for exercise. Unlike the Radical 90s, these skates have really good ankle support. Also, for those of you comparing these to the Radical series, note that I encountered a pretty major issue with my Radicals after a while - mainly the track coming unscrewed from the boot (Radical series has adjustable tracks) regardless of using Lock-tite. Unlike the Radical series, the track is riveted to the boot, ergo it will not detach :).
Great all-around skate, perfect for exercise, not for beginners, and worth every penny.
Q: can the K2 V02 100 X Boa Inline Skates 2014 be as well use as to jump without breaking the skates because i am willing to buy these skates if i can do a minimal amout of tricks i just need to know can you jump with the skates
A: Women's skates offer a significantly different fit based on the anatomical differences between men and women's feet. Since there are key differences, we always recommend that women choose women's skates for the best fit and performance. The women's equivalent to these skates is the K2 V02 90 Boa. Other than the fit differences it does move from a 100-100-90-90 HiLo setup to a 90-90-90-90 wheel configuration to help save some weight.

Q: Hi there!
Is this the only color combination that these skates come in?
Will you be having a sale on these skates or on everything on your website soon? If so, when? WIll the sale price also include the free shirt and rollerblade bag that you presently offer?
Are these skates the replacement for the V02 Max 100 Boa Inline Skates 2013?
A: The 2014 K2 VO2 100 X BOA skates will only be available in the color design show. These skates will most likely not be on sale until Fall of next season, as they are only available for preorder now and have not finished being manufactured by K2 yet. Unfortunately we won't be able to say for sure what promotions we will have available at that time (the free skate bag and shirt are only available on Rollerblade brand skates currently anyways) and these would indeed be the 2014 version of the Max 100's from the 2013 season.
