The X-Training line from K2 is for the skater that wants it all: performance, comfort, fit, big wheels and maximum support. The K2 V02 Max 90 Boa womens inline skates have all of that and more. The Vortech Ventilation System is a three-part system that channels air through the base, footbed, and upper to keep your feet happy and dry. They are made with the K2 Original Softboot to provide you with the best and most comfortable fit. They feature the V02.2 Frame which is a extremely lightweight aluminum frame that has 90mm. It is fast and stable and the best in the K2 X-Training line. They also feature the ILQ 9 bearings which will help you generate some amazingly fast speed.

Awesome product. Love the BOA closure, I just could not get this skate to fit. I ordered the same size I wear in an alpine ski boot. Yet, my foot was too narrow. Bummer.

After much research I purchased these for outdoor fitness. I wear a shoe size 8 and bought a size 8 and they fit fine. I do wear thick socks with them and added my own orthotic insoles. This helped with vibration, arch support, and overall ...Read More

Q: How do these do on concrete and pavement?
Asked : Dec 08, 2014
By : Chay, Fort Worth
Know the answer? Answer this question

A: These are great for concrete and pavement. The wheels are durable, and also offer a larger size making them great for smooth rolling over rough pavement.

Q: i'm totally new to rollerblading. 1) is it recommeded for me to downgrade the wheels from 90mm to 80mm as gain my confidence in rollerblading and upgrade the wheel back to 90mm once i'm more confidence with my skills. 2) would i be still able to use the brake stopper if i were to downgrade the wheels to 80mm.

A: Yes, for most entry level skaters a skate with a wheel size of 80mm to 84mm would be ideal to start off and learn with, so downgrading to a smaller size on the K2 V02 90 Boa skates would be a good choice. The brake should still be usable on the 84mm wheels, but they may not work properly if you go down to a 80mm wheel.

Q: A follow-up question: The w Vo2 90 boa's read "max wheel size 90mm" on the side of the skate plate, yet web specs say 100mm max. Which is correct? Thanks!

A: Upon further inspection of the product, I have discovered that you are correct and the information we received from the manufacturer is wrong. The K2 V02 90 Boa's will only hold a max wheel size of 90mm.

A: Yes, the K2 V02 90 Boa's will indeed have a higher maximum wheel size as well as the Boa lacing system.

Q: Are these skates available now? Also, I am very interested in the mens K2 v02 100 boa that has the 100s on the back wheels and 90s on the front. Is it better to stick with a womens skate?
Asked : Dec 22, 2013
By : cathy, SC
Know the answer? Answer this question

A: Yes, these skates are currently in stock and ready to ship. We certainly recommend sticking to women's skates as there are significant fit differences that separate men's skates from women's skates. The main reason this skate does not use the HiLo setup that the V02 100 Boa uses is to save weight and reduce initial rolling resistance.
