Overview

One of the most recognizable helmets around, the Pro-Tec Ace Skate SXP Helmet is packed full of features to ensure the safety of skaters from the novice to the pro. One of the best being the Multi-Impact SXP Liner which has a built-in rebound control so that once the liners have been compressed the SXP technology shines through rebounding the liner so that you have the impact-absorption at the ready. A hard-shell construction of the injection-molded ABS shell is lightweight and durable. With 16 vents at the ready you shouldn't sweat up a storm, but if you do, you'll have plenty of air moving through cooling you down and doing its best to keep you dry. The Pro-Tec Ace Helmet is a powerful piece of protective gear for all skaters but a staple for those aggressive skaters who fear very little, if anything.

I definitly have never used a better helmet than this for any sport. Fits perfect, just be sure to use a tape measure and get the right measurements before ordering.

Very lightweight helmet! Plenty of protection while still keeping your head cool on those hot days. I wear this while I'm cruising around and my head never overheats. very nice!

I absolutely love this helmet. I have been using it for inline skating and for BMX riding. Thankfully I have yet to fall so I'm not sure how great it will be for keeping me protected. I do know that this helmet is lightweight and comfort...Read More

Q: Hi, how does one determine the correct size helmet to purchase? The last time I had any hat fitted was when I was in the Navy, where I used a 7 1/4" size for the 'dixie cup' style hat. What would that equate to on the size chart? I assumed that this number was the diameter, so I took pi (3.1416), and multiplied it by 7.25, the digital equivalent of 7 1/4"; doing so yielded a result of 22.7766", or slightly more than 22 3/4". On your sizing chart, this equates to a large helmet. Is that an accurate guess?
