Q: is the heel stop removable and if so how?

Know the answer? Answer this question

A:While we don't recommend removing the brake it can be done. To remove the brake you need to remove the rear axle of the skate the brake is on. On the axle has been removed you can swing the brake down away from the frame and swing it up towards the back of the boot. Give the brake a quick twist and it should pop free from the skate. Make sure to replace the rear axle with the shorter axle or add in the axle spacers that should have been in the box.
