Rollerblades - Still Not Worth It
Comments:
I had to switch from another brand of skate back to Rollerblades, because my favorite brand stopped making skates. I thought it would be okay, because this particular pair of skates fit my foot pretty well.

However, just like the other reviewer said - after less than a year, the string on one skate broke, and just like that, I am out of luck. I should have known that metal grommet + ridiculously skinny string was a recipe for failure. And, because such a skinny boot lace was used, it is now hard to find replacement laces for the skate.

Brilliant design, Rollerblade - you would think after 25+ years in the business, you would know better.

bad quality for the money
Comments:
I skate 6 miles every week. I had rollerblades before and I love them. These are hard to tighten. The laces ripped after a few weeks, and that's why the boot (which is too lose) starts hurting after 4 miles. So after 8 months of use, the laces are broken, I can not fasten them anymore, and I can throw them away. And a screw is gone too.

Fast and smooth
Comments:
This is my first pair of skates but honestly there is too much ankle support that it kind of restricts movement but you get used to it, I reccommened for beginner looking for the best or an intermediate skater that wants a fast smooth skate that'll take you from point A to B in a second.

Q: I would like to purchase these rollerblades. My only concern is about the size. If I have US size 8, do I need to get them in a little bit bigger like 8.5 size? Or 8 should be good? Thank you
Asked : Mar 27, 2014
By : Anna Med, Brooklyn NY
Know the answer? Answer this question

A: All Rollerblade brand skates, including the Activa 90's, will fit true to shoe size. If you wear a size 8.0 shoe, you should order the skates in a size 8.0 as well.

Know the answer? Answer this question

A: While we do carry Rollerblade brand 90mm wheel kits, we do not have the exact wheels found on the Activa 90. You may need to contact Rollerblade directly to get those.

Q: Can you brake by just extending right leg. My current skates are old and have "automatic brakes" I don't need to lift my foot to brake?
Asked : Jul 12, 2013
By : Kathy, florida
Know the answer? Answer this question

A: The Rollerblade Activa 90 skates do not have ABT (automatic braking technology) built into them. Currently the only skates Rollerblade produces that has this feature is the Bladerunner Performa ABT skates.
