Comments about Rollerblade Fusion X3 Urban Inline Skates 2014:

This skate is outstanding. I have skated everywhere from the sidewalk by my apartment, to the apartment complex itself all the way to a local trail. Wheels are small but don't seem to hinder any speed I get as I can skate pretty fast. These skates are comfortable and fit just the way I like them. They are a tad heavy which is to be expected with an Urban skate. They are very durable as I have beat them up pretty good and they are still looking brand new.

Great Support and like the vented boot.
Velcro straps are a pain with the skate laces they get caught a lot. Prefer the original straps which are plastic.

                  Service and delivery comments:

Outstanding Support and customer service, this is my second pair of inline skates and will only buy from them. Great Price, fast shipping and excellent Customer Service.

Comments about Rollerblade Fusion X3 Urban Inline Skates 2014:

These skates have a fitting problem. The tongue comes out to one side of the skate no matter how hard i tighten the straps. This produces the potential for injuries, for me stress fractures, and balance issues. I'm at the point where i have to use duck-tape to keep the tongue in. Fitting is key, and you'll probably not find it in these.

                      A:

The frames on the Rollerblade Fusion X3 skates will be a hard composite UFS frame, and will allow for smaller jumps with lighter skaters. For heavier or more advanced skaters, a metal frame would be more ideal.

The Rollerblade Fusion X3 skates will be sized in mens sizes, so you will want to order one full size smaller for an appropriate fit (I would recommend going with a size 8.0 in this case).

The Rollerblade Fusion X3 skates do indeed fit true to shoe size, although a bit on the snug side for wider feet. I would recommend going with the 13.0 if you do not have wider feet, or the 13.5 if you have wider feet.

The Rollerblade Fusion X3 skates, with a wheel size of 80mm, will be more ideal for shorter distances and maneuvering, as opposed to long distances.

Both this and the Doop Freestyle would be great option as long as you are looking for a skate for tricks and jumps only. The biggest difference is whether or not you want a traditional skate or like the idea of strap and go concept of the Doop skates. The nice part of the Doop skates is they are very light and allow you to use a shoe with good cushioning for flat landings.

The Rollerblade Fusion X3 skates are designed to help tackle the challenges of skating on the streets and sidewalks, but does not sacrifice overall speed and control in the process.

                  • Q:

I have a few questions about these skates.I started skating about last year for 2 months but had to stop because even though my legs felt like I could've skated for hours my feet couldn't give me the stamina I wanted because the skates were uncomfortable. Even though it was only for short period of time I knew that absolutely loved skating and I want to be able to skate for hours and go as far as my legs could take me and eventually learn tricks. I have a slightly wide foot and I have attempted time and again to find skates that fit. My shoe size is 13 or 14 depending on the material so its hard to find the right size skates. So my first question would be are these the right skates for a beginner and are they the rights skates for what I want to do? Now my other question is do these skates have a back break?

                    • A:

We offer these skates up to a size 13 and a 14; the skill level is for intermediate to advanced, but not experienced or Pro. So I'd say that they are perfect for your current skill level and will last you for a long time. They do have a back brake, but it is removable for when you get more comfortable on them. The last thing is, I highly recommend you get some arch-support inserts to put inside the skates to help cushion your feet properly (Dr. Scholls has some great gel ones); they will not only make your feet feel better, but they will help prevent knee pain after hours of skating. (Trust me, I learned this the hard way!)

The Rollerblade Fusion X3 skates will include a composite UFS frame that can be swapped out for other UFS style frames, including aluminum models. At this time we do not carry UFS frames within on our inventory.
