My daughter very much appreciated me getting these pads, as she does not have to worry about falling down. She thinks they are easy to put on and adjust. These fit a youth, and have a plastic part that takes the brunt of a fall and may get a few scratches but not major damage. This set comes with knee, elbow and wrist pads, and I did not realize that it had the wrist pads, but I think these are very important when they fall it does not scrape up their hands on the pavement. Great set, I would recommend it for anyone purchasing rollerblades to get this for their child. It is a nuteral black, so gender does not matter.

The XS is still a little big for my small 6 yo but he is still able to wear it. Overall, these are nice set of pads for kids.
