Aggressive - short wheel base, designed to take a beating

Push your boundaries while performing that impossible stunt while around the neighborhood and the familiar streets while you wear this pair of Solo Hype Aggressive Skates by Rollerblade. This lightweight skate will keep rolling and grinding because the balance is low, this way you have control and flex during your jumps and while locking onto the rails. There is one 60mm wheel in the front and one in the back, in the middle are the two smaller 42mm wheels that will keep you rolling and on the rails as needed. The shell is molded and tough and can take a beating, so if you are hard on your skates, this pair is the ones to own. The secure and snug fit is due to the cuff strap, the 45 degree power strap and the lace combination. The SG7 bearings will keep you rolling and provide you with that smooth ride and speed you will need to get air. Control and accuracy is what you will experience as you grind, free ride, jump and slide on obstacles while wearing this great fitting aggressive skate. It does not matter if you are a beginner or more of an advanced rider, this Solo Hype has style and will bring out your confidence with accuracy and style.

  • Great for the technical freestyle rider

They seem durable and ride smoothly, but they run very small. Buy at least 1.5 sizes up, at least for the smaller sizes.

I was on a hiatus from skating and purchased these to get back into skating. They are good for my purposes, and with the large soul plates, I have been able to go topside on ledges with ease. You get what you pay for, but I would recommend ...Read More

Q: All three of my boys are looking for rollerblades. The only problem is that I do not know if I'm buying indoor or outdoor skates!!! I NEED indoor! Any suggestions?

A: The Rollerblade Solo Hype are an aggressive skates, and would only be usable outdoors in hard concrete and park conditions ideally. You would want to look for a more traditional recreational skate with softer wheels to use indoors.

Q: are the sizes only for men

A: Yes the sizes shown for the Rollerblade Solo Hype skates are in mens sizes, so women should order a full size smaller.

Q: Can you switch the two middle 42mm wheels with 2 more 80mm wheels?
Asked : Jun 24, 2013
By : Johy
Know the answer? Answer this question

A: The antirocker wheels on the Rollerblade Solo Hype skates can be swapped out for larger wheels so that all four wheels have surface contact, however the wheel size would likely have to be a bit smaller than the 60mm on the front and back wheel.

Q: Hey I'm a girl and I was wondering what size skate should I buy in mens? I wear a size 9 in female.
Asked : May 28, 2013
By : JallyTard
Know the answer? Answer this question

A: As with most aggressive skates, you want to drop down a full size for womens shoe sizing. So if you typically wear a size 9.0 tennis shoe, you will want to order a size 8.0 in the Rollerblade Solo Hype skates.

Q: How do you break with these kind of skates since they dont have breaks? and what size should i get if im size 10.5 in men U.S.
Asked : May 19, 2013
By : skateland pro, oklahoma
Know the answer? Answer this question

A: As the Rollerblade Solo Hypes are aggressive skates, you will not need to worry about braking as the wheels are much too small to reach high speeds. As for size, Rollerblade fits very true to shoe size. If you wear a size 10.5 shoe, go with a 10.5 skate.
