Push your boundaries while performing that impossible stunt while around the neighborhood and the familiar streets while you wear this pair of Solo Hype Aggressive Skates by Rollerblade. This lightweight skate will keep rolling and grinding because the balance is low, this way you have control and flex during your jumps and while locking onto the rails. There is one 60mm wheel in the front and one in the back, in the middle are the two smaller 42mm wheels that will keep you rolling and on the rails as needed. The shell is molded and tough and can take a beating, so if you are hard on your skates, this pair is the ones to own. The secure and snug fit is due to the cuff strap, the 45 degree power strap and the lace combination. The SG7 bearings will keep you rolling and provide you with that smooth ride and speed you will need to get air. Control and accuracy is what you will experience as you grind, free ride, jump and slide on obstacles while wearing this great fitting aggressive skate. It does not matter if you are a beginner or more of an advanced rider, this Solo Hype has style and will bring out your confidence with accuracy and style.

Comments about Rollerblade Solo Hype Aggressive Skates:

Great pair of first skates. Can get out there and really learn all of the basics + essentials of aggressive skating. That is not to say that they are not exellent for advanced aggressive skating as well, they are indeed ideal for any skater. The Solo's offer great protection and a feeling of securtiy in the boot. Also, they do not really break the bank, so if you're deciding to get that first pair of skates or not I say DO IT-It's an awesome investment!

Hey I'm a girl and I was wondering what size skate should I buy in mens? I wear a size 9 in female.

        A:

As with most aggressive skates, you want to drop down a full size for womens shoe sizing. So if you typically wear a size 9.0 tennis shoe, you will want to order a size 8.0 in the Rollerblade Solo Hype skates.

How do you break with these kind of skates since they dont have breaks? and what size should i get if im size 10.5 in men U.S.

        A:

As the Rollerblade Solo Hypes are aggressive skates, you will not need to worry about braking as the wheels are much too small to reach high speeds. As for size, Rollerblade fits very true to shoe size. If you wear a size 10.5 shoe, go with a 10.5 skate.

This summer, about late July through early August, I am most likely ordering these skates, I'm size 10's in shoes and am thinking of getting size 10.5-11.0 so they can still fit me for a few years, will you still have these in stock?

Unfortunately we cannot guarantee that we will have those in stock at that time. We currently are sold out of the 10.5, and we have 8 pairs of the size 11.0 in stock

        A:

With the Rollerblade brand skates, including the Solo Hype, you will want to order true to your shoe size. If you receive them and need to change them for a different size or model, simple use the return form and label that will come in the package with the skates when you receive them.

Is it safe to use them on the street for long periods of time? Or just skatepark?
I fear that ill ware the wheels down before I can get in to them.

        A:

The Rollerblade Solo Hype, like most aggressive skates, is perfectly safe to use on the streets but is not designed to do so. They are designed solely for park and pipe usage.

I am a mens size 7 and a womens size 8.5. What size skates would you recommend?

      • Staff Reviewer

        A:

For the Solo Hype's, as with all Rollerblade brand aggressive skates, you will want to go with the size 7.0, as they are cut in mens sizes.
