The Rollerblade Solo Trooper Aggressive Skates are perfect for the technical freestyle roller. They feature a molded shell with a new street formula soul plate material with a 45 degree shock absorber that will allow you to take bumps comfortably. This lightweight skate will keep rolling and grinding because the balance is low, this way you have control and flex during your jumps and while locking onto the rails. There is one 60mm wheel in the front and one in the back, in the middle are the two smaller 42mm wheels that will keep you rolling and on the rails as needed. The shell is molded and tough and can take a beating, so if you are hard on your skates, this pair is the ones to own. The secure and snug fit is due to the cuff strap, the 45 degree power strap and the lace combination. The SG5 bearings will keep you rolling with a smooth ride and speed you need to get up in the air. It doesn't matter if you are a beginner or more advanced the Solo Trooper has style and will bring you confidence.
Q: Hi thank for your response. I am looking for skates with brakes and ones I can get around the city with- to go to yoga etc. what would you recommend and do they come in black or white. I prefer no colors if possible. Thanks
A: Great, thanks for the clarification. This skate would not be good for that so I'm glad you mentioned that. I would recommend going with the Twister 80 women's skates from Rollerblade. These are "Urban" style skates which means they have a shorter wheelbase and a more durable design best for city skating. The short wheelbase will allow you to turn easier and offer more control. The Twister 80 womens is going to size the same as your women's shoe size so based on your last Q's the size 9 would be good for you. The Twister comes with a brake but it's in the box and will need to be added, it's a very simple process and you can always call customer service for help. The Twister 80 is all black with pink laces, but the laces can be changed :)

Q: Also is it possible to buy and attach brakes to this model and if so can I purchase them with you?
A: I would not recommend going with the size 9, this skate is sized in men's shoe size and you would want to drop a full size from your women's shoe size for a proper fit. A size 8 is what I'd recommend, we are sold out in this skate but do have some other skates available in that size. A similar skate we currently stock in the size 8 is the Solo Team skate, very similar skate but is black instead of white.

Q: Am I able to change the frame and/or have an all flat setup with these?

A: It is possible the 12.5 in the Rollerblade Solo Trooper would fit you fine, as the Rollerblade brand tends to run a bit larger than other brands. I would recommend going with a 13.0 if you can find it however.
