Comments about Rollerblade Spark 80 Mens Inline Skates:
I had been wanting to get back into skating, and was cautious when buying my first adult pair. Since I use my skates to get around all over town, I knew I needed speed and support. These fit the bill. I've had some rough spills (I got reckless), but these have held up well. The frame will get scrapped up, but it functions fine. The ankle clips got knocked a little loose, but still lock down tight.

Comments about Rollerblade Spark 80 Mens Inline Skates:
I spent many, many hours researching which skates to buy. Several days later, I sacrificed price and bought a less expensive skate that also had the specs I wanted. Not too fast (hence the 80mm wheels) and something that could handle the outdoor skating I would be doing (82A).
Pros: I live in a rural part of NC so the product I got had to be something that could withstand mountains, hills, and the indoor skating rink if I get tired of the scenery. Now, on to my review. I think these skates are hecka better than my old kid skates (Mongoose from a looooong time ago). They certainly ride smooth, go downhill fast with still having a modicum of control. They fit pretty securely and seem to be a well rounded skate. There are a few problems however.
Cons: The binding system is cumbersome in some respects. You have to untie the laces, unstrap the strap and then undo the top binding. So, it can take a little more time to get in and out of the skates, not a big deal just worthy of mention. The other con is, although I have only ridden in these once, I felt a terrible pain in my arches and somewhat near the top of my ankle. Now, I am flat-footed so this is most likely the reason that they were so painful (considering buying insoles). But the pain subsided after about 15 minutes. I re-adjusted the ankle strap and the ankle pain went away.
Note: I bought these skates mostly for fitness and recreation and to have a good time with my brother. He is a much better skater than myself! So his review of these skates is much lower because he is more experienced. But, they get my brother and I out of the house and spending time together, so I am ecstatic!

Comments about Rollerblade Spark 80 Mens Inline Skates:
i like to go on bike trails and skate around. i like how the rollerblades can go very fast. i feel like this product wears very quickly though. i also find that i am getting blisters from long distance skating (not from skate being to loose). the product pushes to much to the outside causing the outer portion of the foot to react in pain after long periods of skating.

Q:
I'm a beginner, are these skates good for exercise?Asked on 1/17/2013 by Desmond from Houston1 answer
A:
These skate are excellent for exercise, especially as a beginner skater. As you get more comfortable on skates you will eventually want to transition to something with a larger wheel size, these are on the smaller side at 80mm, for speed and a super smooth roll, but the smaller wheel on the Spark 80 is far more stable and easier to learn on while still providing a smooth roll.Answered on 1/18/2013 by Thom - Product Specialist
Q:
do you have anymore sizing to choose in this product? i would like to order around 5 pairAsked on 1/6/2013 by kyden from brunei1 answer
A:
As the Rollerblade Spark 80 seen here is an older model, we unfortunately only have the sizes seen listed on the site still available.Answered on 1/8/2013 by Dru in CS from Royal Oak, MI
Q:
was wanting to know if this are one of those skates you can't wear everyday without breaking.im wanting one that will last throw me useing it everyday how could of skates are these?Asked on 1/4/2013 by Ezhno1 answer
A:
The Rollerblade Spark 80's, while a very well constructed skate, does have a composite frame a smaller wheel base, meaning they will likely wear down faster. If you intend to use your skates every day, I would recommend a model with an 84mm/84A wheel and a metal frame.Answered on 1/4/2013 by Dru in CS from Royal Oak, MI
