Comments about Rollerblade Spark Comp Inline Skates:

grandson #1 needed new in line skates, and one of our local merchants recommended you! What a joy, the skates fit perfectly, are sturdy and well made, attractive, and he can race 3 miles or more with the wind in his face. You have a happy customer, I will buy the younger grandson skates when he needs new ones.

    • Q:

I weigh approximately 230 lbs and will need these in a size 13.5 or 14. A previous reviewer asked about weight and I saw the limit was generally around 180 lbs, was that for all sizes? Can a bigger skate handle more weight? If not what would you recommend I look at?

        A:

No, the larger size of the Rollerblade Spark Comp's will not be able to hold more weight, as the frame material (in this case, composite) is the issue for higher weights. You will need a model that has a metal frame, such as the Spark 80 ALU's, to be durable at your weight.

What is the smallest wheel size you can install without the brake touching the ground? Can I put 72 mm wheels?

        A:

The smallest wheel size I would consider on these Rollerblade Spark Comp skates would be a 76mm before the brake will come in contact with the ground

    • Q:

I wear a size 10 shoe and I was wondering should I go a full size above my shoe size or get a 10 to match it?

        A:

With the Spark Comp, as with all Rollerblade skates, you will want to order true to your shoe size. If you wear a size 10.0 shoe go with a 10.0 skate.
