Q: My son is 10 and wears a size 5 1/2 shoe. Is this a skate that would fit him? I'm a little confused as to whether he needs a kids or adult skate. Thanks!
Asked : Dec 02, 2012
By : Stretch, MA
Know the answer? Answer this question

A:Stretch, He is right on the border still. In this skate a size 5-8 would fit him. As far as adult vs. kids skates, when he weighs more than about 100 - 115 pounds you will want to get him into adult skates. When kids are heavier than that they will create more wear and tear on the wheels if they are skating outside and the wheels will break down quickly.
