Designed and built for the serious fitness skater looking to strengthen their skating, and participate in advanced fitness training activities. Rollerblade has created this pair of Tempest 100 Inline Skates just for women. The new slimmer construction boot is soft and made of a fiber tech shell to provide you with durability along with a superior fit like no other. The extruded aluminum frame is tough, stiff and durable, allowing you to skate farther, faster and easier with less effort. A stiffer frame has less flex and movement, this reduces the amount of energy that is lost when energy is transferred to the spiral HP wheels. The boot closure consists of a cuff buckle, 45 degree power strap and performance asymmetrical lacing for a precise and custom fit each and every time you strap them up. The SG9 bearings will provide smoothness ability to reach higher speeds with less effort. The liner consists of a precision five star fit that is made of memory foam and anatomical pads that are lighter in weight and allow for your feet to remain much cooler on those long distance training days.

These skates are very fast. If you have been skating for awhile and are looking for more speed get this skate. If you are a newbie or casual skater these may not be the ones for you. They are very fast and it takes a bit to get used to if your are advancing from 90mm with a higher boot. When I first got these I was a bit scared because the lower ankle and increased wheel size and bearings = very fast. Love them now. Just keep bearings clean and lubed, rotate wheels and you will love these.
I like commuting around town long distance. These skates are amazing for a relatively flat environment. The break is a lot further back than skates with smaller wheels so its much more difficult to break and going down hill can be scary. there are down hill maneuvers you can do but its harder maneuvering with these skates. I definately reccomend these amazing skates, but not if you have too many hills.
