The Rollerblade Tempest 100 Inline Skates are back for another great year of gliding. Designed specifically for the female fitness skater, these skates will help improve and strengthen your skating skills. The boot is soft and made of a fiber tech shell to provide you with durability along with a superior fit so you skate comfortably on a reliable skate. Fast, smooth and effortless is what you will experience each time that you take to the road, track or surface to begin your cardio pumping distance skating. The extruded aluminum frame is tough, stiff and has less flex which means you can skate farther, faster and easier with less effort. The Closure System on consists of a cuff buckle, 45 degree power strap and performance asymmetrical lacing for a precise and custom fit every time you place them on your feet. The SG9 bearings will determine the smoothness of your ride and your ability to reach higher speeds with less effort, thus creating a longer roll for you to use to your advantage. The Precision 5 Star Fit is made of memory foam and anatomical pads that keep the skate light while also allowing your feet to remain cooler longer as you're heating up. The Rollerblade Tempest 100 Inline Skates are high-performance for the serious skater who wants strengthen up and condition while training.

Comments:
I just upgraded my skates from an 84mm skate because where I skate there are some areas of loose gravel and pebbles and I'm looking to do more distance. I was afraid the 100mm were going to be too large, fast, and make me feel off balanced, but these skates are great! I don't get caught up in the gravel that my 84mm skates did. My only complaint is I went from having a skate with the BOA lacing system (LOVE) to traditional lacing, took some getting used to. Also where the skate crosses over at the asymetrial fold it puts added pressure on my foot that my old skates didn't. If these came with a boa lacing system I would rate this 5+ stars!

Q: I am a size 8 (women's)in most of my sneakers (I have a few that are 8.5) and was wondering what skate size to pick. I am interested in the Rollerblade Tempest 100 Women's skates. Are Rollerblade skates pretty close to the skater's regular shoe size or do they run small/big? I also was wondering if I should wear two pairs of socks when skating. I have read several articles and it seems there is no right or wrong answer. Thank you in advance for your help!

Know the answer? Answer this question

A: The Tempest 100's, as with all Rollerblade skates, fits true to shoe size, although as these are speed skates they are designed to be snug. I would recommend going with the size 8.0 for the best fit. As for double socks, you never want to wear more than one set of socks at a time (except with kids) as this can cause chaffing and will not allow your feet to properly ventilate when skating.

Q: Hi, I'm wondering why the 2013 model of this skate is cheaper than the 2012 model. Is there something missing from the new model? Thanks, Madeleine

By : Madeleine, North Carolina
Know the answer? Answer this question

A: The pricing difference is due to Rollerblade offering us a lower starting price on the Tempests this season.
