Beware of little ankle support. Even with lateral adjusting when I got tired I was falling out of them. They were not fast at the start so there is a definite breaking in period but speeded up with time. Looks great. This skate is great for a person with strong ankles & a good stance NOT for a beginer

I rollerblade on an outdoor path - I was amazed how well I (comfortably) could feel the path. The skates are comfortable and fun to use.
These are the first rollerblades I liked since my "Cool Blades". I wish the new inline skates had the same kind of closure clamps that the Cool Blades have... you can get out of them faster and have more ankle support.

I skate for recreation,long distance.The last pair of skates i owned were 1989 RB Aeroblade, when skates had a higher boot and 3 sturdy quick fasten buckles. In my search for comparable support and comfort, i tried many skates. Low end skates just did not cut it for my needs as i am more an intermediate to advanced. At 5"8" 165lbs, i need a skate with support, padded comfort and speed. Figuring that a men's skate may do me better, i bought RB Twister 80, loved the style and frame but too much roominess in the fore foot.Laces helped little so i returned them. Next, tried women"s Activa 90, a great skate for a beg. or Int. skater, but i needed more bells and whistles fit wise, given my stature. Finally, there was a tie bet the women's Activa 100 / full padding heel to even the toes (a rare find!)& good support & the Tempest 90 slightly more rigid, gentle w padding but great support and faster lace up system. The result,TEMPEST 90 won. I chose have a faster boot entry (less lace fidgeting as it has an asymmetrical lacing), over (ONLY)a bit more padding(especially at toe)offered by Activa 100. Btw, I am a size 9 reg width but needed 8.5 w/ Tempest 90. Both are excellent. It just depends on whats more important to you. Hopefully, next year the two will have it all. Also, I'd like to see Rollerblade bring the 3 buckle system into the mix again.

Delivery very prompt. Arrived in good condition, however, older models that may have been returned in the past are not packed as nicely as the newer ones (ex: No plastic bag for each boot, tissue paper etc.) They did have toe stuffing though. Regarding Customer service, I've returned two pair of skates. One CSR gave me a number to write on my paperwork,and the second CSR did not. Too soon to tell you if the turnaround time is as timely as the first. I am confident it will be though. Inlineskates.net have been easy to deal with so far. I have enjoyed my shopping experience with them!
