Comments about Rollerblade Twister 80 Urban Inline Skates 2012:
I use this mostly for city street skating and exercise. I've only had this skate for a few weeks, so I can't speak to wheel durability. The boot itself seems very durable. My biggest problem was with getting the right fit.
I bought these a few weeks ago, and I had a difficult time with sizing. These are NOT true to size. In 7 different shoes and boots I own, all from different companies, I consistently wear a size 11, which, according to the labels on those shoes, is equivallent to an EU 45 (one says 46). The size 11 1/2 RB 80 is EU 44.5 (says so right on the label on the boot,) and the skate was definitely too short with my great toes uncomfortably hitting the end of the inner boot. Then I took out the foot bed and directly compared it to the footbeds in my other SIZE 11 shoes. The rollerblade footbed was close to 3/8 inch shorter even though the skate was a half size LARGER. So to get the right length, I had to buy a size 12 skate. Then the length was ok but the size 12 skate was wider than ideal. So I had to put in some stick-on felt pads on the inside of the shell to narrow the width for my foot. The end result is working ok but by multiple measures these skate are NOT TRUE TO SIZE. Perhaps a size 12 inner boot in a size 11 1/2 shell would have been the best setup (there is plenty of room between the end of the inner boot and the end of the hard shell), but does Rollerblade even sell inner boots without the shell? Anyway, the sizing and fit are a problem and I've got to admit I'll be considering other options in the future.

Comments about Rollerblade Twister 80 Urban Inline Skates 2012:
Sizing note - I'm a 12.5 U.S. - salesperson correctly recommended 13 and it fits perfectly - toe gently touches the end.
This skate is great for practicing on the rink and trail fitness skating. Turns quickly. 80mm wheels that are closely spaced work like hockey skates. Comfortable but a little heavier. Rugged though. Only minor critiques - the leftover buckle flap sticks out a little on the inside...hasn't caused a problem yet though. Can pick up and lodge gravel piece between rear wheel and brake assembly - can cause rear wheel to lock up. I'd buy these skates again though.

Comments about Rollerblade Twister 80 Urban Inline Skates 2012:
I bought these skates for my husband for Father's Day and he loved them. The minute I took them out the box, I went back online and ordered myself a pair (the women's version of course). These skates are really worth every penny.

Comments about Rollerblade Twister 80 Urban Inline Skates 2012:
These are some nice skates. They are very eye catching and roll very smoothly on street terrain. They also allow the brake to be added or removed. Being a beginner these skates are just awesome.

Comments about Rollerblade Twister 80 Urban Inline Skates 2012:
When I was looking for a great skate that has a lot of maneuverability, I looked at the Twister 80, and the Seba skates. I heard that Seba skates are really nice skates, but it was hit and miss on getting them to fit correctly. The higher price point made it even easier to lean toward the Twister 80 skates. I was a little concerned on the fit of the twister 80's, but they fit great. It has taken me a little getting used to skating on 80mm wheels compared to my older 72mm wheels from back in the day. The bearings roll very smooth, almost too smooth. My first attempt at jumping with these nearly landed me with a broken leg. Make sure your planted well before you push off to jump. Other than what has been mentioned, I really like the boot, buckles, and frame on these skates. Bottom line, if you truly want a nice skate at a reasonable price point, the Twister 80's should be at the top of your list.

Comments about Rollerblade Twister 80 Urban Inline Skates 2012:
Overall quality is good BUT if this skate has the same rough mesh lining type fabric as earlier models it will wear the skin off your ankle bones.
