Let's start with the closure system; offering the Boa closure with a specially made Boa cuff you have one of the easiest and best working closures found on kid's skates. The Boa system works with the Boa cuff to pull the skate tight making it safe and fun to skate on while still offering an incredibly easy on and off design. Parents will love the 360 degree reflective material found on the skates which will offer a little bit of extra security when your little one is skating. Q: My daughter wears a 2.5. Should I go with the 1-5 or 4-8? Kids feet grow so fast, I hope she will be able to use them a couple years. She's currently been skating around on my old Women's size 8 K2 skates, and surprisingly doing very well--which is why I'm considering the 4-8, as it is only 1.5 sizes bigger than her actual shoe size. Do the skates, when adjusted, run pretty true to size? Any recommendations?

A:The skates do run fairly true to size but do offer a lot of support and padding. Although 1.5 sizes too large is pushing it a bit I do fully understand the predicament you find yourself in. In a perfect world you would get the 1-5 for now and start at the size 2 or 3 depending on the exact fit. But, if you go with the size 4-8 and adjust it all the way down to the size 4 you should be ok, she would have to try the skates on inside, not outdoors since then they can't be returned if used outdoors, and just see if there are any issues with the fit. Skates are very sturdy and supportive and can be tightened down quite a bit.

Q: My daughter wears a size 12 little girls. Should I do a size 1-5 ?

Know the answer? Answer this question

A:You will be best off with the size 11-2 which will still offer some growing room but will offer the correct size for now. If you go with the size 1-5 you will have to deal with the skates being too large now since they don't offer a size 12, and would be 2 full sizes too big. The size 11-2 adjusts 11 - 12 - 13 - 1 - 2 so you could put them at the size 12 right out of the box and still have 3 full sizes of adjustment.
