Q: I just purchased these skates. Can you please tell me how to replace the wheels and any tools needed? Also, can you recommend the compound type and wheel size to use for outdoors? Thanks
A: This model has 2 80mm wheels in the back and 2 76mm wheels in the front so you are going to need 4 80mm wheels and 4 76mm wheels. We are currently sold out but there are specific wheels for outdoor roller hockey, these wheels are typically around 80A hardness which makes them more durable, and will have a slightly wider profile in most cases. For wheel removal you will need a standard Allen wrench but I do recommend purchasing an inline skate specific tool that comes with a bearing popper as this is the easiest and safest way to remove bearings from the wheel.

Q: I wear a 8.5 EE hockey skate. What size rollerblade should i order for my particularly large feet.
A: Alkali skates are taken 1 full size down from your standard shoe size. With a wider foot you may want to find a brand that actually comes in wide widths, this boot is going to be a fairly standard width and I wouldn't want you to purchase it a size too big just to make room side to side. You could add a heel lift in the skate to alleviate some of the side to side pressure.
A: The skates are fine for outdoor use but the wheels that come on them are indoor wheels and are going to be a softer compound than you would want to use outdoors. The wheels can be replaced with outdoor wheels of a harder compound.

Q: Why are two different wheel sizes listed? Wanting to purchase these and then purchased harder/more durable wheels to replace with but I don't know what size to get
A: These are a hi-lo setup commonly found on roller hockey skates, the back 2 wheels on each skate are 80mm and the front 2 wheels are 76mm. This setup is great for roller hockey as it allows for a quicker turn radius while still allowing for decent speed.
