Q: Will this be a decent skate for someone weighing approximately 225 lbs?

Know the answer? Answer this question

A: You honestly probably wouldn't have an issue on these but I'd personally recommend a skate with a metal or aluminum frame. This skate features a plastic composite frame and although I have no hard time believing it will support you I don't believe you'd get the best performance. As a husky gent myself I know that a metal or aluminum frame is going to perform much better with more weight on it, a skate like the K2 Fit 84 would be a great choice and not too much extra coin, you get larger wheels and an aluminum frame on that one so you'll be skating smoother with better energy transfer.

Q: Hi. This will be my first inline-skate purchase, I'm size 10.5, should I consider a bigger size or 10.5 is actually for 10.5? I'm asking this because I heard advices for another brands to buy a higher size than I am. Is somebody there to share their experience about this wonderful product? Thank you

Know the answer? Answer this question

A: I wear a size 10.5 in shoe size myself, and in K2 skates I also wear a size 10.5 - Some skaters do size up for whatever reason and in some models of skates this may be warranted but this K2 is going to fit the same as your standard shoe size and that is the size I'd recommend.
