They are very supportive in the ankles and did not rub like my old skates. They are easy to lace up quickly and make for easy wearing and removal. They are not as fast as some skates, as they are using ABEC-5 bearings, but they are good f...Read More

Runs larger than size. I wear a size 6 shoe, but a size 6 was too big. I reordered a size 5 and it fits perfectly. Great customer service online and by phone.

Q: I am a size 9 for street shoes. What size is recomended for me to order?
Asked : Mar 28, 2015
By : Petra, Hyattsville, md
Know the answer? Answer this question

A: Go with a size 9. Inline skates are going to fit very similar to your standard shoe size. Some higher end skates will be best taken a 1/2 size smaller than your shoe size, but the Kinetic 80 is a great fitting all around skate and will be fine taken the same size as shoe size.

Q: I'm looking to buy my gf some inline skate skates for Christmas. I've narrowed my search down to these skates and the K2 Andra ALU women's inline skates. What would be my best choice between the two reguarding comfort, stability, and which one has the smoothest ride?
Asked : Dec 20, 2014
By : Rowell93, Crestwood, IL
Know the answer? Answer this question

A: The two skates you are looking at are very similar but between the two I would choose the Andra simply based on the fact it offers an ALU frame. The Kinetic 80 is a solid skate but offers a composite frame, and overall the ALU frame on the Andra will be a bit lighter and offer better overall performance through better power transfer and rigidity for support.

Q: Is this break safe? Like when i need to stop is it easy to control and fast to stop? Also, is it quick to ketch onto if you're a beginner? I need to know soon because i'm ordering tonight. Thank you!
Asked : Aug 19, 2013
By : Lucy
Know the answer? Answer this question

A: Braking with the K2 Kinetic 80 skates, as with all inline skates, is a learning process but is fairly quick to pick up on. How quickly you will pick up on inline skating all depends on you and how quickly you learn, but is typically fairly easy to learn how to do, especially with the right skates (these Kinetics would be a great starting choice).

Q: I am wondering the big differences between the kinetic and Athena for K2 blades. I am ordering tonight and wondering why Athena starts out at such a higher price? What am I getting for the price? thanks! Nikki
Asked : Jul 19, 2013
By : Nikki, United States
Know the answer? Answer this question

A: The Athena will have a slightly more durable frame and will provide a bit more support, as the exoskeletal frame will be stiffer. Outside of that however the K2 Kinetic 80 and the Athena will be nearly identical.
