Q: Does this model skate have padding around the ankles and on the tongue?
A: Yes, these skates offer foam quarter padding around the ankles as well as a split comfort tongue. The inner foam offers a heat activated fit meaning that the skates will break in as you skate in them and the heat from your own foot will allow the skate to mold around your foot shape. This means the skates are going to fit much better after using them a half dozen times than they do the first time you try them on.
