The Rollerblade Macroblade 84 ABT Inline Skates are great performance skate when you want something more than just to cruise around. These skates have lots of great features to keep you comfortable, rolling fast and performing at your best.
The Twinblade Aluminum Frame is going to be great at transferring energy from each stride down to the 84mm wheels. These wheels are great for recreational use and they can get you going at high speeds and maintain that speed. The liner inside is a Performance Form 5 Star Fit which will help conform the liner to your foot so that you have the ultimate in comfort. The high cuff will give you plenty of support and, when locked in with the cuff buckle and 45 degree strap, you'll have a secure fit and feel.
The Rollerblade Macroblade 84 ABT Inline Skates are great for the recreational skater who wants a little more performance and loves the feel of skating fast.
ABT (Active Brake Technology) is an intuitive braking system designed to help beginner to intermediate skaters. The ABT brake system works with the cuff of the skate to allow skaters to apply the brake while keeping all the wheels on the ground. The brake arm is attached to the cuff of the skate so when a skater leans back to apply the brake, the brake will automatically lower to touch the ground while the wheels remain grounded as well.

At about $140, this is good value for money.
I bought it through a friend in USA because I have wide feet and this is one of the very few wide fit models that's available.
I bought it last year and have used it for a year now. It's all good except one thing. The tightening buckle is all plastic and it is less than great. I had to trim the size of its plastic tongue twice because it wont tighten enough. I have had to wrestle with it every day.
I have a K2 pair with a far better buckle with a far more solid construction.
Other than this one disappointment, it's all good, and it is good value for money hence the four starsHide

These are nice rollerblades. They are comfortable and fit great. The brakes take a bit of learning curve being used to the standard brakes but they work great. Hoping they hold up. The only thing that keep these from being 5 stars is the bearings aren't the best. I took them to a skating rink for my first time use. At first I thought the floor rough because I kept feeling vibrating. I tried a pair of rental blades and the vibrating went away. The rink had some Reds bearings so purchased a set since they'd install them for free. What a difference that made. Now my skates are smooth and seem a little faster. I actually had a minor fall because I wasn't used such smooth bearings.Hide
A: It would appear that you could detach it completely from the right skate and then attach it in the same fashion to the left skate. You would want to undo the top attachment with an allen wrench and undo the rear axle holding the brake apparatus, this will free up the brake attachment. You will want to use the same axle from the right skate since it's longer to accommodate the brake and attach the brake on the left skate using that axle, and attach the top portion just as it was on the right skate.
A: You could go up a 1/2 size for very wide feet. With the added room you can easily add special inserts or footbeds to make for a better fit. Some skaters with wide feet have luck adding a heel lift which can pull your foot up in the boot which can alleviate some of the side to side pressure. Also keep in mind that skates will break in around your foot and can take up to 6 times skating in them to fully break them in.
