These skates were delivered to me on 2192016. At first site I fell in love with the color! I wear a size 11 shoe with some toe room so I decided to order a 10.5 to have a snug fit. As expected, my big toe just barely touches the top of the ...Read More

I love those skates. They are quiet, smooth and really fast. They look amazing and feel very comfortable. I skate 10+ miles every time and they never hurt or pinch or cause any blisters like other skates do. It's easy to put them on and the...Read More

Q: Hey! I just bought a pair these wonderful skates. First off, they are incredibly smooth and just pure awesome. Unfortunately, the insides of my ankles are extremely raw and sore from my first city cruise and skatepark run today. Is there a way to break these bad boys in faster? E.g. heating the shell up for an instant contour. Thanks for any help!

A: I feel ya, I picked these up last season and had a similar experience. They are great skates but the stiffness and boot design can make for a rough break in. I found wearing a super slim and snug fitting performance sock worked to alleviate some of the issues but in the end you really just need to skate in them to break them in. It took me a good 3 times out before my feet stopped hurting and probably 5-6 until I felt they were truly broken in. These skates are fairly high end and can be a bit demanding, but trust me they are worth it once broken in, my Maxxum 84's now fit like a second skin and I love them after almost writing them off after the first skate.
