If your playground is the concrete jungle then these skates were made for you. Back again for another year, and the reason there's an urban skate category, the Twister 80 will definitely remain a top choice for skaters. Here's why.

I have been wanting to learn to skate, but always thought the super cheap skates at sporting goods stores would not be worth it. I tried some on at Dicks and since most cheap skates are soft boot, they felt very loose and not too much suppo...Read More

Q: Are the current sizes available all you have left in this model or will you be getting more in stock? I wear a size 8, but I see that's not an available option.

A: These are the current sizes available and we will most likely not be receiving more stock. These skates are from model year 2016 which is why they are at a great price but what we have leftover is what we have as far as sizes go. We do currently have the 2017 model of this same skate available in many more sizes including a size 8 at this time.

Q: I typically wear a size 10 or 11 women's shoe and the Rollerblade Twister 80 only goes up to size 10. I'm afraid that if the skates run small at all that they aren't going to fit. Unfortunately, I have a really thin foot and can't get a men's model (I already nearly broke my ankle after buying too-wide hockey skates). Should I just get the size 10 and risk them being too small?

A: This is the 2016 model and we simply don't have stocked the size 10.5, we do however have it stocked in the 2017 model. That model is a bit more money right now being a current year model but I do believe the 1/2 size is going to make the difference for you. Many users say these skates fit small but I believe they are simply a bit narrow and fairly stiff. Once broken in they fit like a dream. I have a comparable men's model and took them a 1/2 size smaller than shoe and after about 6 skates they fit like a dream. In the interim there was some pain and pinching but once broken in they were great. When you first try your skates on you really want the toe to be pressed fairly close to the front of the boot if not just touching.

Q: What's the difference between the 2016 & 2017 models?
Asked : Apr 13, 2017
By : Jac, Portsmouth
Know the answer? Answer this question

A: The only differences in the skates are going to be cosmetic, and the fact that the 2016 stock is dwindling and more sizes are available in the newer model.

Q: i used to be a fairly aggressive inline skater (beginnger-ish half-pipe rider) when i was much much younger. i haven't owned rollerblades or skated since the 90s, but i want to get back into it. i don't really want to go fast or do anything advanced. i definitely never want to get back onto a halfpipe. i basically want to have fun and not get injured. i just want to skate around the park for exercise. are these are good skate for me or should i go with one of the 'exercise' options. also, what is your return policy if i don't like the skates i bought...? what if i've skated on them?

A: These would be a good skate if you want to keep some of that aggressive skate style of fit, as these have a hard plastic outer similar to an aggressive skate. These skates are going to offer a bit more support than the other skates in the fitness category as these are made to take abuse and protect the foot. It really depends on what you are looking for, I personally have a pair of both since I enjoy the feeling of the aggressive skate styling (former halfpipe/park skater too) but I also like my softer skates when I'm looking for more of a leisurely skate around. I would recommend really keying in on what is most important to you as many of today's skates have similar features but are geared towards slightly different styles of skating.

Q: is there a difference in width and fit of the maxxuum 90 and the twister 80 for women or is the boot and the liner all the same?
Asked : May 19, 2016
By : mayra, chicago illinois
Know the answer? Answer this question

A: The Maxxum skates use the Maxxum shell and the Twister uses the twister shell, in my opinion the Maxxum is slightly wider than the twister but not enough to make a viable difference. They both use the same liner with the specialized 5 star fit. In most women's specific skates the width is slightly narrower and the cuff goes down a bit lower. Since these skates have a low cuff already and the liner allows for a good fit on many foot types there isn't any real differences between the women's and men's urban style Rollerblade brand skates. I would make the decision based on the wheel sizes and the overall type of skating you are doing. Maxxum 90 is better for longer skates and getting to higher speeds, the Twister 80 is more maneuverable

Q: Would these skates be a good choice for skating on rough pavement?
Asked : Feb 07, 2016
By : Shy, Nebraska
Know the answer? Answer this question

A: Yes, these would be great for skating on rough pavement. The wheels are large enough to go over bumps and debris but no so large as to go too fast giving you good control.
