Rollerblade Twister Edge Womens Urban Inline Skates 2019

I've had these skates for about a week now, and I get so excited to use these! Compared to my old skates (Bladerunner Advantage Pro XT Women's Adult Fitness Inline Skates), these are a massive upgrade. The bearings are amazing. Out of the box, all the wheels spin for at least 10 seconds. The frame is very tough extruded aluminum, which has much more resistance compared to the composite (plastic) frames I'm used to. The frame itself is a little shorter and there is less space between the wheels, making them very maneuverable, though you sacrifice a bit of speed. My favorite feature is probably the shock absorber in the heels. Combined with the Supreme wheels, my knees feel significantly better after jumps. The brake is included in the box in case you might need it. I prefer to keep it off because I like to jump off sidewalk curbs. It also makes it easier to do crossovers. The liner is also super comfortable. It's not too loose, or too tight. It perfectly contours to my feet. The laces don't help much since they're on the outer shell, which is hard plastic. They look good though! These skates are breathable, especially at high speeds. There is a screen door on the bottom of the boot, plus two large vents under the toes. I really like the micro ratchet on the heel lock. It really keeps my feet in place. My only gripe about the Twister line is that you have to order a FULL SIZE UP to get the perfect fit. I usually wear a womens 6, but bought these in 7. Also, the cuff buckle scuffs a lot from falls.Hide
