Welcome to the revolution of skating. The Cardiff S1 Skates boast a new and innovative design that allows you to skate wherever, whenever and with comfort and ease. No special socks or fear of blisters. The Cardiff S1 boasts a three-wheel bootless design called Tri Skate Technology. The unique wheel configuration and braking system provides plenty of stability and ensure that you can take them anywhere for recreational skating or transportation. With 100mm wheels, you'll be cruising quickly whether you're skating in the park or traveling from point A to point B. All you have to do is slip your shoes into the skate, strap in and head out. It's super easy to put on and is one-size-fits-all. You can even share them without the fear of someone else's stinky feet sweating in your skate. The wheels have an ABEC 5 bearing for performance and the frame is anodized aluminum so you won't have to worry about the durability of these skates which is good because you'll probably want to skate all the time now. Why carry around big old lunky skates when you can bring along the lightweight and reliable Cardiff S1 Skates?

  • Max User Weight 250 lbs.

Q: How easy are they to use for an adult that has not skated before?
Asked : May 02, 2015
By : Interested, Tucson
Know the answer? Answer this question

A: These skates are actually very easy for those that have never skated before. The wheel design gives great balance for those that have never had wheels beneath their feet before. Get acclimated with the skates on a nice flat surface first before tackling any varied terrain, and a cheap hockey stick can help you learn balance when you first start skating.

Q: How does the breaking system function? How long, with daily use, will the wheels last in general? Do the wheels have enough grip to be used in rainy weather? How long would shipping to the Netherlands generally take? Thanks :)
Asked : Mar 04, 2014
By : Tim, Netherlands
Know the answer? Answer this question

A: The braking system on any of the Cardiff models, such as the S1, will be set up so that when you slide your heel back it will apply pressure to the back wheel, slowing you down. The wheels will be made of a grippy polyurethane that will work in most conditions including rain (although you would need to clean and dry your skates after each rainy run to avoid rust to the bearings and axles) and the wheels will be durable enough that they should last you for quite some time if rotated properly. Finally, for international shipping on any of our products, please add everything to your cart you wish to order and select the International Checkout button. They can provide you with approximate totals and time frames for delivery.

By : Old tin can, Trinidad CO
